Bivalve shells’ cemetery
Explore the shell cemetery, home to as many as 131 different species of molluscs.
As you stroll along the coast, you can explore the shell cemetery, where you will find an impressive 131 different species of molluscs, including 71 species of snails and at least 60 species of bivalves. You may also spot at least 30 different species of birds.
We want to preserve the bivalve shells’ cemetery for future generations, therefore we kindly ask the visitors to admire the shells (and photograph them) but not to collect them.
