MASHARIK

The band Masharik has substantially left its mark on the Slovenian music scene in recent years. They first received the prestigious Gold Guitar Award for Newcomer of the Year, then filled Kino Šiška with a sold-out premiere of their album Otroci cvetja. Even at their very first major concert, the audience sang along in unison to songs like Brat moj, Stran od oči, and Otroci cvetja, which quickly became some of the most recognizable songs of 2024.  

The group consists of Maša Bogataj (guitar, vocals), Luka Zemljič (keyboards, backing vocals), and Bojan Marinko (drums). Maša captivates listeners with thoughtful, sensitive lyrics supported by expressive guitar riffs and solos, while Bojan and Luka contribute unique dynamics and vibrant sound textures through their musicianship. Their music feels immediate — it warms, energizes, and reaches deep. Through their instrumental mastery, vocal harmonies, and charismatic performances, they convince even the most demanding audiences.
